Can a strata company limit the number of vehicles in a lot’s garage

By Neziah,

Can our strata company amend the conduct by-law for parking on common property to include a restriction allowing only one motor vehicle to be kept in a roller-shutter lock-up garage that sits fully within the owner's survey-strata lot?

For example, an owner couldn't keep one car plus a moped, or even two mopeds. No reason has been given, such as appearance or safety.

Can the strata company charge an owner for an EV inspection

By Neziah,

A tenant asked our council for permission to plug their new plug-in hybrid vehicle into the power source in their storeroom next to their car bay. We believe the electricity is metered to the owner.

We gave the tenant a notice asking for an electrical certificate confirming that the power is charged to the owner or tenant, and that the connection meets basic Australian safety requirements. They haven't replied or provided the certificate, but they bought the EV.
