Gemma joined the Allisons team in August 2016. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Melbourne, and her earlier background in property and conveyancing underpins her strata law practice.
She acts for owners corporations, community associations, and lot owners across a broad range of strata disputes under the Strata Schemes Management Act 2015, including building management agreements, lot and common property disputes, and by-law matters. Gemma also handles building defect claims under the Home Building Act 1989 and neighbour disputes, with carriage of matters in NCAT, the Appeal Panel, the Supreme Court, and the Land and Environment Court.
