The VIC Strata Magazine September 2026
The September 2026 edition of The VIC Strata Magazine examines insurance and valuation issues for Victorian owners corporations, including separate unit insurance in tier 4 owners corporations and whether lot entitlements can be adjusted to match insurance valuations. Governance topics include reopening closed special resolution ballots, committee powers to order forensic audits, voting rights of members who own multiple lots, and access to owners corporation records under the Owners Corporations Act 2006. The edition also covers maintenance responsibilities for private fences, storage cage fences and sub water meters on common property, and whether short-stay bans will become easier to enforce in Victoria.
