Sean McNamara

Sean is a licensed Strata Manager in NSW who has worked in roles in the industry across strata management, policy, compliance, and systems and policies. He runs a strata report business, bringing a strata manager's eye to the inspection of the books and records of owners corporations. Sean has a keen interest in Strata policy and legislation, and the interplay of expectations of those living in Strata with the law, By-Laws and Strata Plan. Sean has represented the Strata industry on panels such as the NSW Building Commissioner’s Building Certification Practice Manual Working Group and the NABERS Stakeholders Reference Panel. Most recently, he has become concerned with the rise of AI in the industry in the face of increasing risk profiles for managers and owners corporations, and is a fierce advocate for "human first" perspectives in this diverse and demanding field. He blogs occasionally on Strata Management systems and industry practice.
