Question: Changes to security in our building have lead to me being locked out. I'm in a wheelchair and unable to reach the mechanism for my fob or to access the intercom. I've made a formal complaint to the committee, but received no response. What now?
Kerin Benson Lawyers Question: In our complex, townhouses set below the High-rises are requesting to install solar panels on their roof. Lot owners in the high-rises are denying the request as they will be able to see the installs from their balcony. Can they do this?
Question: Our strata complex has common property roads that are extremely dark at night. Are there Australian standards and/or Australian building codes that inform when lights should be on at night within these areas.

NAT: SCA COVID-19 Strata Pulse Survey
COVID-19 has changed the way we work and do business. One significant change for the strata management sector has been the way committee meetings are organised, with many committee meetings now being offered flexibly or online via teleconference.
SCA is trying to gather information about the number of organisations undertaking online committee meetings, their effectiveness, lot owner experiences and the future of flexible, online meetings.
This information will aid our understanding of the sector’s response to COVID-19 and aid our advocacy efforts and we would welcome your valuable input.
